“Whenever we go to different places, we like to take a cooking class to get a hands on experience with the local cuisine. Our kids enjoy cooking and we find it helps them connect with the local culture. This time, we were in Amsterdam and searched for a class to learn to make Dutch Pancakes. We spent almost €275 for a family of four (two adults and two kids – ages 9 and 11) on this local activity in the center of Amsterdam. The value for us was not there.
