“Great tour. The guide will answer some of the questions you raise. “Giethoorn is amazing. The drive was smooth, the car large and comfortable. My niece was visiting me in Amsterdam, I had been there for about 2 months for work and I decided to take this private tour, even though I had been to Zaanse Schans on one of the big bus tours. This is an excellent way to see both Giethoorn and Zaanse Schans. Having more time is nice, and being able to linger or go early beats the bus tour in many ways.
